Review of Assassin's Creed 2

I wrote yesterday about the price my stupidity played in TV destruction while playing Assassin's Creed 2. But what about the game itself? Well, my review of Assassin's Creed 2 is now up at Creative Loafing.

I've been playing Demon's Souls in small chunks for the past day or so. I don't know what to make of it yet. There's some cool stuff and then there's all the crazy frustrating, annoyingly repettitive, aggressively punishing parts. It's almost a form of game therapy - putting myself through the most annoying but good game in recent memory and controlling myself. I've turned it off a lot, but always in a calm, considered manner.

We'll see if I get through enough to write a review.
